ScatterMats Rugs & Runners is committed to providing quality products and exceptional service. All rugs and products purchased from our Welshpool store come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing faults, as assessed by ScatterMats Rugs & Runners and/or the product manufacturer.
If you believe your product is faulty, please contact ScatterMats directly. We will assess the item and determine whether it qualifies for our Full Warranty or Pro-Rata Warranty.
Please note: returning the product to ScatterMats, or returning it back to you, may be at your own expense.
Warranty Conditions
Proof of Purchase
A valid ScatterMats Rugs & Runners receipt or bank statement showing the date of purchase must be provided.
Pro-Rata Warranty
A pro-rata warranty means the exchange or replacement value is adjusted based on how long you have owned the product, as it has already provided a period of use.
Definition of "Faulty"
"Faulty" refers only to genuine manufacturing defects, as determined by ScatterMats Rugs & Runners and/or the product manufacturer.
What Is Not Considered a Fault
The following are not classified as manufacturing faults and are not covered under warranty:
- Stains, spills, or soiling
- Fading or colour changes
- Watermarking
- Shrinkage or stretching caused by water or moisture
- Flattening of pile
- Reasonable fluffing, pilling, or shedding
- Damage to overlocking
- Damage from sun exposure
- Items used in commercial environments (unless manufacturer-approved)
- Curling, rippling, or bubbling
- Damage resulting from incorrect cleaning methods or inappropriate cleaning products
- Any rug or product that has been modified or altered
- Lack of care, poor maintenance, accidental damage, misuse, or tampering
Replacement, Repair & Exclusions
- "Replace" refers to replacement with a product of equivalent value of the original purchase price. Replacement does not mean a refund.
- ScatterMats Rugs & Runners reserves the right to repair a rug or product at its discretion.
- Warranty does not apply to:
- Bath mats
- Carpet remnants
- ScatterMats Rug Overlocking Service
- Products damaged during cleaning or by incorrect cleaning agents
- Products used commercially without manufacturer approval
