How to Order Hall Runners
We sell hall runners two ways – Pre-Made Lengths (ready-to-ship, fixed sizes) and By The Meter (cut to your exact length). Here's how each works.
Pre-Made Lengths
These runners come in set sizes – just pick the width and length that suits your space from the options on the product page, add to cart, and you're done. No cutting or custom sizing involved.
By The Meter
Perfect if your hallway doesn't match a standard size, or you need a specific length. Here's how to order:
- 1. Choose your width – select from the available widths shown on the product page (e.g. 80cm, 100cm, 120cm) – this determines the price per metre.
- 2. Enter your length – use the Length (m) field to enter exactly how many metres you need. Lengths start from 0.5m, in 0.1m increments – so you can order 2.3m, 4.7m, or any length in between, not just whole metres.
- 3. Check your price – the price updates instantly as you type, so you'll always know the total before adding to cart.
- 4. Add to cart and checkout – once you're happy with your width and length, add to cart as normal. Need more than one length of the same runner? Just add it to your cart again with the new length – each length will show as its own line so we always know exactly what to cut.
Measuring tip
Measure your hallway at its narrowest point, then add a small allowance (we'd suggest 5–10cm) so the runner isn't a tight squeeze once it's laid.
Need edging or overlocking?
By The Meter runners are cut from a roll, so only the two short ends (where the cut is made) are raw – the long edges along both sides already come finished. We offer overlocking to neatly finish these cut ends – see our Overlocking guide for details, or add it as an option on the product page when ordering.
